Types of student mobility Bachelor / Undergraduate

It is important to identify the type of mobility according to the foreign institution, since this will determine the procedure after approval by the Commission and the financial resources that the student must have to carry out the mobility.

I. By program

When it is carried out through institutional programs in which UNAM participates, such as the DGECI General Call for Applications, DGECI National Mobility Call for Applications and those for short stays.

DGECI International General Call for Applications - Semester Mobility

The Office for International Cooperation (DGECI) at UNAM offers opportunities for undergraduate exchanges abroad for a semester. Options are available for those who meet the general requirements (and particular requirements of the School) to carry out academic activities in one of the partner universities that offer places for this purpose.
Consult the call for applications, which is published at www.unaminternacional.unam.mx

DGECI-UNAM National Student Mobility Program - Semester Mobility

UNAM has agreements in force with the main public institutions of higher education in the country, where you can carry out mobility stays and, in some cases, have scholarship support to pay for the mobility stay.
Consult the call for applications, which is published at www.unaminternacional.unam.mx

Special calls for applications for short stays or courses

UNAM Office for International Cooperation frequently publishes several special calls for short stays for research, training, language, updating, professional experience, etc., for a period of a few weeks, defined by the call itself. These calls may be directed to enrolled students, alumni or both, depending on the dates and characteristics of the stay.
Consult the possible calls for applications usually published at www.unaminternacional.unam.mx

II. As a Visiting student (Free mover)

This applies when there is no agreement with the host institution, but the student is interested in carrying out a stay. Tuition and registration fees will be paid by the student, or by external scholarships for mobility in which the student participates on his/her own.
