Mission

To promote internationalization within the School of Engineering by managing and fostering strategic collaborations, projects, and agreements with foreign institutions. To facilitate student and faculty mobility, research cooperation, and the integration of global experiences into the education of engineers, thereby strengthening the School’s international profile.

Vision

The Internationalization Office will contribute to fostering a globally connected academic and student community within the School of Engineering, equipping them to face professional and scientific challenges with an international perspective. This will be achieved through the management of initiatives that expand collaboration and engagement opportunities with prestigious institutions worldwide.

Through the establishment and effective utilization of collaboration strategies and agreements with renowned universities and institutions, it will facilitate student and faculty mobility, participation in research stays, academic activities abroad for degree purposes, joint projects, and international cooperation networks.

It will drive the integration of an international dimension into the curriculum through strategies such as COIL courses, English-taught subjects, and dual-degree programs, strengthening the education of engineers with a global outlook.

The office will contribute to the School’s leadership in knowledge generation and application at an international level, promoting collaborative research and technological development with global impact.

Finally, it will serve as a strategic link between the School, UNAM, and other academic and research institutions, ensuring that internationalization opportunities benefit the entire student and academic community.
